SUMMARY:
The project proposes the alignment of the methods for gauging the means of measurement specific for the thermal measures field (thermostat precincts, drying oven, sterilizers, climate rooms, thermostat bathrooms, refrigerating precincts, etc) in direct correlation with the provisions of the harmonized European regulations or on the way of harmonizing, at the necessary exactness for the trying methods applied in the fields of health and food security, medical devices, electrical equipments of low voltage, household equipments, etc and respectively, with the requirements imposed by the Agreement of mutual recognition of the gauging certificates and measuring bulletins (MRA). At the same time, the project proposes the extension of the accreditation, according to the requirements of the standard SR EN ISO /CEI 17025:2005, of a gauging laboratory in the field of temperature measures, which has the duty to assure the assessment of the conformity.
The project responds to the basic requirements regarding the assurance of free circulation of products and services with its basic component, the accreditation, contained in the bargain program for the adhesion of Romania to the European Union (UE) – major strategic objective of our country for the next period.
The activities provided in the project pursue the alignment / experimentation / recognition of the gauging methods in the regulated field and the extension of the accreditation at the level of the gauging laboratory in order to assure the competence of execution of the gauging operations characteristic for the temperature measures field, in conformity with the principles and the practices in the European Union.
THE STAGES OF THE PROJECT AND DELIVERY DEADLINES:
1. 1.08.2006 – 30.12.2006, The assessment of performances and of the conformity of the existing gauging methods / necessary for the transposition of the European directives and regulations.

2. 1.01.2007 – 31.07.2007, The development of services regarding the gauging of the thermostat precincts, at the same time with the new gauging methods and the updating of the preparation in the field of quality.

3. 1.08.2007 – 30.11.2007, The confirmation of the measurement fields and of the new gauging capabilities assimilated and implemented through relevant participations MRA / INM and the initiation of the accreditation.

4. 1.12.2007 – 31.01.2008 Dissemination information and the accreditation of the laboratory (extension).
